What to Expect in Your Free Online Quran Trial Class : A Step-by-Step Guide
Taking the first step toward learning the Quran—or enrolling your child—can sometimes feel intimidating. You might be wondering: “Will the teacher be too strict? What if my child refuses to speak? Will I be tested on things I don’t know?”
At Al Wafaa Institute, we completely understand these concerns. That is exactly why we do not ask you to commit to a paid plan immediately. Instead, we invite you to a free online Quran trial class.
This session is not a strict exam; it is a friendly, stress-free introduction. To put your mind at ease, here is exactly what you and your child can expect during your first 30-minute session with our Al-Azhar certified tutors.

Step 1: The Technical Setup (Keep it Simple)
Before the class begins, our dedicated support team will send you a secure link via email or WhatsApp. You do not need expensive equipment or complex software.
All you need is a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection and a built-in microphone. The world of online tutoring has evolved to be incredibly user-friendly. Just click the link, and you will be instantly connected to your private, 1-on-1 virtual classroom.
Step 2: The Warm Welcome and Icebreaker
Our teachers are trained extensively in pediatric and adult psychology. The first 5 to 10 minutes of the trial are purely dedicated to building trust.
-
For Kids: The tutor will smile, use engaging visuals, and ask fun questions about their hobbies, favorite colors, or pets. The goal is to make the child laugh and feel completely safe.
-
For Adults: The tutor will respectfully introduce themselves, ask about your daily routine, and discuss your personal spiritual goals.
Step 3: The Gentle Assessment
Once you or your child feel comfortable, the tutor will conduct a brief, gentle evaluation. This is simply to understand your current level so we do not waste your time teaching you things you already know, nor overwhelm you with things that are too difficult.
-
If you are a total beginner: The teacher will simply introduce you to the first few letters of the Arabic alphabet to show you how easy our visual teaching method is.
-
If you have prior knowledge: You will be asked to read a short, familiar Surah (like Al-Fatiha). The teacher will gently listen to your Tajweed and note areas for improvement without interrupting you.
Step 4: Building Your Custom Progress Roadmap
By the end of the 30 minutes, the tutor will know exactly what you need. They will share their screen to show you a customized Learning Roadmap.
They will tell you:
-
Which level you should start at.
-
Which specific Tajweed rules or reading skills need focus.
-
A realistic timeline for achieving your goals (e.g., “You will be reading the Mushaf fluently in 3 months”).
Step 5: Zero Pressure, Zero Obligation
When the class ends, there is no high-pressure sales pitch. You log off, discuss the experience with your family, and decide if Al Wafaa Institute is the right fit for you. We let the quality of our teaching do the convincing.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do I have to provide credit card details to book the free trial? Absolutely not. Your free trial is 100% free. We do not ask for any payment information until you have completed the trial, loved the experience, and explicitly decided to enroll in a paid monthly plan.
Do I need to prepare anything before the trial class? No preparation is necessary! Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and a quiet room. If you or your child already have a physical Mushaf, keep it nearby, but our teachers will also display the digital Quran on the screen.
Can parents sit next to their child during the trial class? We highly encourage it! We want parents to sit next to their children during the trial so they can witness our interactive teaching style, see how the tutor handles the child’s attention, and feel completely confident in our educational standards.
